Discover what’s new at the Pic du Midi this season
2025 - 2026 season
At 2,877 metres above sea level, the Pic du Midi is far more than a viewpoint. It’s a place apart, shaped by history, silence, and light. For generations, it has drawn nature lovers, stargazers, and those in search of simplicity and meaning. Up here, the air is pure, the views stretch endlessly, and time seems to slow down.
To observe, to understand, to feel… this is where you truly rediscover what it means to “take things to a higher level”.
And this season, new experiences are waiting for you to experience the Pic in a whole new way.

An eagerly awaited opening: The Hôtellerie des Laquets will welcome its first guests in summer 2026, perched at high altitude and connected to the Pic du Midi by cable car. From January 2026, bookings will open for a truly exceptional overnight stay at 2,877 metres, in one of 16 half-board rooms, including a bistronomic dinner and breakfast.
An extraordinary place designed for contemplation, where the sky and mountains surround you in silence.
In the meantime, discover all the accommodation options near the Pic du Midi: charming hotels, cosy apartments, or nature hideaways… there’s bound to be a special retreat waiting for you.

Since 2000, the Pic du Midi has been welcoming visitors to its summit. To mark 25 years of emotion, discovery, and stargazing, a series of festive events will take place throughout the 2025/2026 winter season:
- -20% on visit tickets for all skiers staying in the Grand Tourmalet area
- Gift vouchers from €42 – perfect for Christmas or for sharing an unforgettable experience.

Maison du Tourmalet, at 2,115 metres above sea level, is now an official Tour de France store (ASO partner).
It features an exclusive selection of cycling and trail gear, ideal for mountain and outdoor sports enthusiasts. Skiers will also find plenty of gift inspiration—perfect for Christmas or to tuck into a rucksack for the next adventure.
On April 4, 2026, to mark the end of the winter season at Grand Tourmalet, the Pic du Midi will host an exceptional concert at nearly 3,000 metres above sea level.
After IAM, Bakermat and Cerrone, a new French artist will be announced this autumn for this unique moment where music meets the peaks.
A one-of-a-kind stage in the Pyrenees, for an experience you’ll only have once in a lifetime.

Where local heritage meets high altitude, the restaurant Le 2877 offers a tasting menu featuring five variations of Porc Noir de Bigorre, an exceptional product from south-west France.
A unique high-altitude lunch (from €69 per person), also available with wine pairings, set against one of the most breathtaking views in the Pyrenees.
An unforgettable culinary experience.
