On the Haute-Garonne side, Les Agudes offers one of the sunniest, most welcoming areas of Peyragudes for learning to ski.
Everything starts at the base of the slopes beside the Les Barbioules chairlift. Here, the beginner zone has a covered magic carpet and gentle slopes where you can build confidence.
It's a wide, peaceful area, ideal for turning those first-day nerves into the joy of skiing.
You'll need a ski pass to use the lifts. For beginners, the Flex Card is a great choice:

Absolutely. On the Haute-Garonne side of Peyragudes, the beginner zone is right at the base of the slopes beside the Les Barbioules chairlift. It has a covered magic carpet, gentle slopes and a safe setting for your first turns. The resort's east-west orientation also means sunshine for much of the day.
From age 3. Young children discover the snow in a dedicated area with magic carpets, away from experienced skiers. ESF Les Agudes also offers half-day packages combining childcare and ski lessons.
It depends on how you like to learn. Group lessons bring together skiers of similar ability, helping everyone progress together over the week. With private lessons, the instructor focuses entirely on you, ideal for progressing quickly or working on a particular skill. You can also combine both.
No. You'll need to buy one separately to use the lifts with your instructor. For beginners, the Peyragudes Flex Card offers rates adjusted to the areas you ski in. Order it online before your lesson.
All lessons meet at the base of the slopes, beside the bottom of the Les Barbioules chairlift. The ESF office (Le Chalet, 31110 Gouaux-de-Larboust) is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, including school holidays. See the Peyragudes piste map.
