New to skiing or taking lessons? The Flex Card is ideal for your first turns. It gives you the freedom to learn at your own pace, without having to worry about buying a ski pass each time.
Our tip: focus on improving your technique and enjoying the slopes, rather than sorting out your ski pass.
Ready to make your first turns in Luz Ardiden?
Beginners start in Aulian, the resort's beginner zone.
Near the Pourteres drag lift, the green runs Oursons, Turon, Piou-Piou and Baby are ideal for learning at your own pace.
As your confidence grows, you can head over to the Béderet sector and try La Belle Bleue, a blue run.
The Flex Card makes it easy to progress:

Opening hours (outside school holidays)
At the resort, at the foot of the slopes, our office is open daily from 9am to 5pm, non-stop. Open on Saturdays as well.
Opening hours (during school holidays)
In the village of Luz, opposite the Tourist Office, our office is open during school holidays from 5pm to 7pm.

Luz Ardiden is a truly family-friendly ski resort, making it an ideal place for beginners. The Aulian sector, with its gentle green slopes (Oursons, Turon, Piou Piou and Baby), is perfect for taking your first turns in complete safety. As you build confidence and technique, you can progress to the Béderet sector and eventually enjoy the long blue run La Belle Bleue.
Children can start from age 3 at Club Mini Piou Piou, in small groups, or from age 4 at the ESF's Club Piou Piou.
Young children learn in a dedicated, protected area with a magic carpet and rope tow before moving on to group lessons.
Our tip: one lesson a day is plenty to begin with. The most important thing is to keep it fun.
Yes. As well as alpine skiing, ESF Luz Ardiden instructors teach snowboarding and telemark skiing. It's a great chance to try something new, whatever your level.
