Good to know
- A valid ski pass is required and is not included with ski lessons.
For your first ski lesson in Gourette, please arrive with your own ski equipment and suitable ski clothing. A ski helmet is strongly recommended. It is not mandatory, but highly advised.
Meeting points vary depending on your lesson type and level:
- Club Piou-Piou: Meeting at the Jardin des Neiges (Club Piou-Piou) for Piou-Piou and Garoloup.
- Group lessons – Ourson & Flocon levels: Meeting point next to the “La Boule de Neige” hotel.
- Group lessons – Flocon to Competition level: Meeting at the base area.
- Group lessons – Adults: Meeting at the base area.
- Snowboard lessons: Meeting at the base area.
- Private lessons: Meeting at the ESF area at the base of the slopes.
Yes — a lift pass is required in order to follow your instructor on the lifts. Gourette offers a progressive beginner pass: the Gourette beginner ski pass.
With the Flex Card, you benefit from pricing adapted to the area you ski in, affordable beginner sessions, and an optional online insurance option. It’s the pass recommended by ski instructors.
Ski lessons last between 1 and 2 hours. We recommend bringing a small snack to keep your energy up during the lesson.
