Great gear, no hassle.
Booking online saves you time on the slopes: your equipment is prepared in advance, and you only need to stop by the shop for boot fitting and binding adjustments. It’s also the best way to get the lowest prices, with up to 25% off compared to in-store rates.
As early as possible, ideally when booking your lift passes and accommodation. During school holidays and weekends, premium ranges and the best time slots sell out quickly. Booking early also ensures better prices.
A standard ski pack includes skis, boots, and poles. For snowboarding, it includes the board and boots. Helmets are usually optional, although sometimes included in certain packs. Rental shops also offer extra accessories: gloves, goggles, protection gear, back protectors, and more.
- Beginner: forgiving, easy-to-handle skis, perfect for first runs and green/blue slopes.
- Intermediate: versatile skis suitable for all types of slopes, for confident skiers on red runs.
- Expert / performance: high-end, more responsive and precise equipment designed for speed, deep snow, or off-piste skiing. When in doubt, staff will guide you based on your level, weight, and skiing habits.
On arrival, show your booking confirmation. You’ll try on boots (key step: they must support your foot without being too tight), then bindings are adjusted according to your weight, height, and skill level. It usually takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on how busy it is.
Helmets are not mandatory for adults, but strongly recommended for everyone and essential for children. They are available for rent in all partner shops, either separately or included in some packages.
Yes. If you improve, conditions change, or your gear doesn’t suit you, you can go back to the shop. Exchanges are free within the same range, or you can upgrade by paying the difference.
Most rental shops offer optional damage/theft insurance for a few euros per day. Without insurance, lost or damaged equipment will be charged. This option is highly recommended, especially for high-end gear.
Yes. Depending on the shop and resort, you can rent snowboards, snowshoes, ski touring gear, telemark skis, sleds, as well as accessories like helmets, goggles, protection gear, backpacks, and more.
All partner shops offer child packages (skis, boots, poles, and helmet) at reduced prices. In some cases, young children may even rent for free depending on conditions. Make sure to provide height and shoe size when booking.
Yes, modification and cancellation terms are provided during booking and repeated in your confirmation email. The N’PY cancellation insurance, available at checkout, covers unforeseen events such as illness or injury.
All N’PY partner shops are selected for the quality of their equipment and service. To choose, compare location (resort centre or slopeside), equipment ranges, extra services (storage, exchange, delivery), and customer reviews.
