If you’re passionate about cycling, you’re in the right place. The big MTB weekend will take place from May 28 to May 31, 2026, and will be the biggest mountain bike event in the Pyrenees. An unmissable highlight of the MTB season in the Pyrenees.
Thursday 28 May
Competition: Thursday is mainly dedicated to professional riders’ training sessions from 10am to 4pm, with the exhibitors’ village opening at 9am.
Public activities: Alongside the stands, you can enjoy yoga, climbing, or the Lake Ride—crossing the Neste du Louron on floating pontoons without getting wet. There will also be Caf & Talk sessions with athletes, followed by live concerts from 7:30pm to midnight.
Friday 29 May
Compétitions : Entrainement de 9h à 17h.
Grand public : Vous pourrez toujours faire du Yoga, de l'escalade ou traverser la neste du Louron à vélo sans tomber à l’eau sur des pontons flottants (Lake Ride), écouter des athlètes durant un caf & talk et finir par des concerts de 19h30 à minuit.
Pour les Kids, ne ratez pas le challenge Draisienne + mini XC à 11h30 et 17h
Competition: Training sessions run from 9am to 5pm.
Public activities: Yoga, climbing, Lake Ride, athlete meet-ups during Caf & Talk sessions, and evening concerts from 7:30pm to midnight.
Kids: Don’t miss the Balance Bike Challenge + Mini XC at 11:30am and 5pm.
Saturday 30 May
Competition: Open Enduro 8am–3:15pm, Enduro World Cup 10am–5pm. Downhill training: women 8:30–9:30am, men 9:45–10:45am, juniors 11am–12pm, followed by afternoon racing. The day wraps up with the EDR podium at 6pm and the Dual Slalom podium at 7:45pm.
Public activities: Yoga, climbing, Lake Ride, Caf & Talk sessions, and concerts from 8:30pm to 1am.
Kids: Balance Bike Challenge + Mini XC at 10:30am and 5pm.
Sunday 31 May
Competition: Kids Enduro 8am–12:30pm, Kids Cross Country 8:30–11am, followed by the Downhill finals in the afternoon and the various podium ceremonies.
Public activities: Festival activities finish at 11:15am.

If you’re staying in the Vallée du Louron, it’s best to book early. You’ll find a wide range of accommodation options, including campsites, hotels, apartments, guesthouses and residences.
For easy access to the event, Loudenvielle village is your best base. If you prefer a quieter stay, the nearby village of Arreau is a great alternative.

Where to watch the riders
If you’re on site, we strongly recommend taking the Skyvall cable car for the best views of the event.
Three giant screens will also be placed around the venue so you can follow all the action live.
How to get to the Pyrénées Bike Festival
Take the A64 motorway and exit at n°16 (Lannemezan). Continue via Arreau (D929), then follow the D616 towards Loudenvielle.
The journey takes around 2 hours from Toulouse and 3.5 hours from Bordeaux.
Parking areas will be available on the outskirts of Loudenvielle, with shuttle buses running regularly to the heart of the festival.
The Pyrénées Bike Festival and the Mountain Bike World Cup will take place from May 28 to May 31, 2026 in Loudenvielle (Peyragudes).
The best option is to stay in the center of Loudenvielle or around the Lac de Génos-Loudenvielle. Discover all available accommodations in the area.
