From Tarbes, you can reach the slopes at La Mongie (Grand Tourmalet) by taking bus service 960 from Tarbes. You’ll then need to take the Bagnères–La Mongie bus service. This service connects with the daily 960 Tarbes–Bagnères-de-Bigorre route, providing a complete service throughout the winter season.
The ski bus cannot be booked online. Simply pay when you board the bus. To save time when you arrive, don’t forget to buy or top up your Grand Tourmalet ski pass online or via the N’PY app.

If you take bus service 960 from Tarbes, allow around 1 hour 45 minutes, including the connection.
