Cancellation insurance
The purpose of the “N’PY PLACE DE MARCHE” insurance is to reimburse the Insured for the costs related to the cancellation of their ski trip.
The insurance guarantees full or partial reimbursement of booked services such as: accommodation, equipment rental, ski passes, ski lessons, various tickets (access to leisure areas, transport tickets, après-ski activities)
A temporary or permanent disability
Insufficient or excessive snow cover
when it occurs in resorts located at altitudes above 1,500 meters, between the 3rd Saturday of December and the 2nd Saturday of April, and results in the closure of more than 2/3 of the ski slopes in the area.
Access to stations is not permitted for more than 24 hours.
The cancellation or modification, by the employer of the insured's paid leave dates
A serious illness (including serious illness resulting from an epidemic or pandemic declared within 30 days prior to departure)
A serious bodily injury accident or death
including the consequences, after-effects, complications or aggravation of an illness or accident, observed between the booking of your trip and its complete completion.
Serious material damage to his main residence.
Denied boarding following a temperature check of the Beneficiary/Insured upon arrival at the departure airport
Coverage is capped at €6,500 per person per claim or €32,000 per event. A 10% deductible applies in the event of illness related to an epidemic or pandemic.
Any criminal convictions to which the Insured may be subject
damages resulting from the Insured's consumption of alcohol and/or
les dommages consécutifs à la consommation d’alcool par l’Assuré et/ou, drogues l’absorption par l’Assuré de médicaments, ou substance stupéfiante mentionnée au Code de la santé publique, non prescrits médicalement
Restrictions on the free movement of people and goods, airport closures, border closures;
Damages occurring prior to the signing of this contract,
The consequences, after-effects, complications or aggravations of an illness or bodily injury that were observed before the booking of the insured service
Les Catastrophes naturelles
Any guaranteed event occurring between the date of booking the insured service and the date of signing this contract
Cancellation insurance does not cover the inability to travel due to border closures, logistical issues, accommodation conditions, or security concerns at the destination.
