You'll be staying in the heart of a small village in the Béarn region, just outside Oloron Sainte-Marie, on a farm where we're launching our organic market gardening business, a project that reflects our values of sustainability and respect for the land.
Committed to tomorrow, our 1816 building has been renovated using natural materials and an eco-responsible approach: sheep's wool insulation, solar panels, second-hand furnishings... to offer our travelers healthy, authentic and sustainable comfort.... to offer our travelers healthy, authentic and sustainable comfort.
In a peaceful, leafy setting, our gîte is the ideal place to savor the moment in all simplicity: relaxing on the terrace or enjoying a good book by the fire.
Nearby, you'll enjoy many outdoor activities: hiking, white-water sports, accrobranche, skiing, snowshoeing, ... and local gastronomy at the markets.
The exteriors offer a terrace with forest table as well as a small garden equipped with deckchairs opening back onto the market garden.
Inside, the 90m2 gîte features a large open-plan living-dining room - fully-equipped kitchen (induction hob, fridge, freezer, oven and microwave), two bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed, and office space. The main heating system is a closed hearth fireplace (wood supplied).
The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a washing machine/dryer. The WC is separate.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
In the kitchen, coffee, tea, sugar, condiments, washing-up liquid and tea towels are at your disposal for a peaceful arrival.
In the garden, a small children's hut and a ping-pong table are available.
Lending facilities: board games, raclette machines and crèpes.
