Cross country trail
All trails have easy - introduction levels. They are marked out with signs and indicate if there is enough snow, you have a ski trail 24km.
It’s the shortest cross country trail, it’s circuit 1km long which starts at the refuge, passing the National park information hut, then westward to “camp Périqué”, turn south-westward to go through the forest as far as the slope “La Larri” and return to the refuge. Signs are green, a perfect trail for an introduction.
A perfect circuit 2km long to start in cross country skiing, marked out in yellow. It starts from the refuge Eastward then you go to the right of the campsite area Bar, you go to the forest, which weaves through the campsite area as far as the crossing of the slope “Ronatiza”, where you continue Westward to the refuge.
Marked out in red, it’s the longest and the most technical trail. If weather conditions permit, you can go as far as 11km. Start from the refuge Eastward to the campsite of Pineta, go through the slope “Pradas” to the end of the campsite area, where after a descent you go through Rio Cinca. From here you go on the flat on 2km to the crossing of Pineta’s refuge.
The trail is more difficult and is for advanced level skiers, with slopes which rise and fall with corners. Then from here if weather conditions permit, a one way trail, goes down to the right, and after 4km you will arrive at a bridge (orange) on the Rio Cinca and continue the trail.
From here, if weather conditions permit, the trail goes under the bridge, and this time in both direction (go and back by the same way) and there are 8km left. You will arrive on a football ground “El Cornato” by a trail located over the Neste where you will arrive after a long descent. Market out in black.
To return, it will be more difficult because you have to go up a level of 150m and 10km more to the refuge. To do this trail it’s better to take a picnic.
